Garden Ghosts
Utilizing drawing, painting, and cut-paper collage, Garden Ghosts is primarily inspired by water; its ambiguity and fluidity, where land and water become one. A wellspring of resources, renewal, and of the life-source itself, water also embodies a place of danger, of possible contamination, and unfathomable depths. The work explores the fantastical dream-like landscapes of a fallen world, inhabited by post-human hybrids, botanicals, and remnants of the Victorian era.
